For all my peeps that love Twilight and own an i-top tool. here's a fun download for you today. Team Edward and Team Jacob badge/button copy. You can make a whole bunch for your friends and let them pick which team they're rooting for!!

Favorite "Twilight Inspired" Finds
How could I possibly resist posting about Twilight on this special day? You see for those of you have been dead or simply don't care, this is the day I get to go see Eclipse. It's the 3rd movie in the Twilight Saga. Of course having read the book all twice I already know what happens, but I have to say this is on of my favorite ones out of the entire series and I'm very thrilled for it. I was even more thrilled when I scored tickets for me, a friend, my daughter and her friend for a private premier showing at 6:00pm rather then having to go see it at midnight. Did you know here in Utah that we sell more tickets the first day/night then anywhere else?? Go figure?!!
Custom Twilight T-Shirts & More
I thought this was so clever. You can pick Jacob or Edward and then the CafePress site customizes your t-shirts, bags and etc with your NAME on them. Loved the idea, but didn't find it until just now...so I won't be showing up wearing my new Jacob...I mean Edward shirt (wink).
Edward Necklace by Margie
This beauty was created by my friend Margie Romney-Aslett and like all things Margie, this girl knows how to bling out a piece of jewelry. Regretfully I would have much preferred to take her class on this then buy a kit...and I found out about it too late. Wouldn't this have rocked to have for the movie premier.
Twilight on Etsy
I had no idea that there was so much Twilight inspired things on ETSY. Holy cow these women are either spending way too much time making things about the movies or actually making money off those women that are so obsessed they buy it. This particular shop made me laugh the most.
Twilight Inspired Cupcakes
A co-worker sent me a link to a local business called So Cupcake. He was telling me that his wife and some friends from the neighborhood are going to see the new Eclipse movie, but before they're stopping by So Cupcakes to try out one of their new cupcakes.Regretfully they didn't have pictures of their cupcakes on their website (sniffle), but the descriptions were so worth posting here (see below). You have to read through them and if you have a chance to stop by their shop, eat one for me!!
"BITE BACK cupcakes"Take advantage of this tasty opportunity to take a "bite" out of your favorite vampire or wolf. In cupcake form of course! These custom created cupcakes were inspried by these yummy characters in the Twilight saga. Who do you want to take a bite out of? Favorite Finds for the 17th Week of 2010
I found some great things to share with you this week and I'm even thrilled that the post will hit before the weekend!! I had to get my butt in gear so I could run away from home to a 24 hour scrapbook retreat...very excited about that. And just a quick warning, I was in a bit of a chatty mood with this post. Enjoy!
Playroom Storage on Steroids
This chick is my IDOL. I have always felt quite capable of mastering the art of carpentry. I've dabbled a little in it with the help of my best friend and we're proud to say that we own more power tools then our husbands...but when I saw this storage room wall I flipped!! How amazing is this?? Sandra has this fun blog called Sawdust and Paper Scraps (love the name). She actually shows us how she created this amazing storage wall (ignore the part about it taking 5 weeks) and I think she ROCKS! I of course plan on putting these new found directions to the test in my craft room...no toy storage needed for me (well scrapbook toys are okay). And please don't forget to leave a comment on her blog if you like this as much as I do!
Easy Mother's Day Tulle Necklace
Lovely Little Website
Easy Mother's Day Tulle NecklaceThis is a super easy project if you need a quick idea for Mother's Day...I'm hoping to convince my daughter to make one for me and her grandmother's to wear to church Sunday. Over at Bird Crafts she shows you how simple this really is!

Plantable Seeded Paper Flowers
I've shown everyone how to make these simple spiral paper flowers, but I LOVED the idea to make these into "seeded" paper flowers. Over on the How Does She? website she shows you how to apply seeds to the paper so when they I really like that she made these from brown paper bags and she shows you an example made from a paper towel. What a cute mother's day gift idea!

Too Cute Tutu Tutorial (say that six times)
I see these darling little tutu's at all the boutiques and know that they can't be that hard to make. I really don't have any reason to make one, but I thought I'd share with my friends out there that have cute little girls (or dogs) that might need a tutu in their future.
Lovely Little WebsiteI don't remember how I came upon this lovely little bridal website for a store in New York, but I just loved how they designed the site. And for some reason I found myself shopping through the wedding dresses....nothing like I see at the weddings around here in Utah. Funny too considering I haven't worn a wedding dress for over 18 years and don't plan on wearing one anytime soon (or ever)...and my daughter is only 13 so no hurry there either. Oh, if you want to see some lovely bridal photos then be sure to check out their blog!
Twilight Scrappers
Twilight ScrappersI loved this posted that offered up a tutorial on using the Yudu machine from Provo Craft to make your own "glitter" shirts. But even better then the tutorial was the actual project...Twilight inspired! Inside the heart it reads, "Edward Will You Scrap With Me". Personally I would rather have Edward breathe on my neck or give me a ride through the mountains...scrapbooking with him never actually crossed my mind. Check out the tutorial.

Bakerella's Pudding Cups

Bakerella's Pudding Cups
I have to admit these didn't excite me too much when I imagined filling them with "pudding", but then I started thinking about filling them with ice cream or even fresh fruit...then I thought these "chocolate bowls" were a delightful idea. If you've never snooped around Bakerella's website, you should...but don't do it when you're hungry!!

Mother's Day Message

"My New Life Video tells about Stephanie Nielson, survivor of a near-fatal plane crash. She shares her story of a beautiful life centered on faith in Jesus Christ and love of family. She is also very well known for her blog, NieNie. But on a personal note, I watched this video on my bosses computer while sitting at my desk, as we watched quietly my eyes filled with tears at how Stephanie explained her physical and emotional challenges each day and how she viewed her body, but most importantly her view of motherhood. What an amazing example of faith and perseverance she is to her children and I could only hope that I could even be a portion of that to my own children. Happy Mother's Day to all the women who continue to be daily examples to me of mothers!

Favorite Finds for the 13th Week of 2010
I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter, we sure did. However, I notice that as my kids get older our holiday traditions change a bit, but I'm okay with that. This week's post will be short...really busy this week.
Yummy Colored Mini Staplers
I love my scrapbook staplers...I own a mini stapler, I wish I owned the tiny attacher from Tim Holtz and I absolutely love my Stampin Up rotating stapler. But how about these fun little staplers and I think you should have one of each color so you never have to change out the colored staples. These are Zenith Staplers from Germany.

Digital Scrapbook Sale!

Digital Scrapbook Sale!
I'm a huge fan of "The Ettes" an they're celebrating Fayette's 49th birthday by putting everything on sale for 49% off. Personally I thought was only turning 29, but the discount doesn't sound good enough, so thank heavens I was wrong. I love to use their artwork for invites, sign-up sheets, images for cards...so even if you're not a huge digi scrapbooker, you will want to grab a few of their collections (or more)! Jump over to their online store and click on "Dig-Ette-al Kits" for the best value!!

Whooo Loves this Card?

Cake Pops

Whooo Loves this Card?
I downloaded the digital art for this cute owl from Two Peas in a Bucket about a month ago. It use to be a Hero Arts stamp and I'm not a big time stamper, but digital line art...I'm all over that. So I printed it out on cardstock, colored it with my very cool Tombow Markers, added a little Glossy Accents to part of the owl and Ranger Stickles (glitter) to other parts and voila...dang cute card. Oh then I couldn't resist adding a little bling to the card using the new i-rock gem setting tool from Imaginisce.

New Stephenie Meyer Book?
Not sure about this, but wanted to share the news for those of you that didn't know Stephenie is releasing a new book, due out in June! Here's a description: Fans of The Twilight Saga will be enthralled by this riveting story of Bree Tanner, a character first introduced in Eclipse, and the darker side of the newborn vampire world she inhabits. In another irresistible combination of danger, mystery, and romance, Stephenie Meyer tells the devastating story of Bree and the newborn army as they prepare to close in on Bella Swan and the Cullens, following their encounter to its unforgettable conclusion.
I've shown these before, but was hoping by posting about it again that I'll actually give them a try...who couldn't resist these yummy little pops? Crafty Chicks posted exactly how to do these and hopefully inspired more of us to give them a try!

Next week let's shoot for an early week post instead of end of week post!! Thanks to everyone's help and support during this stressful week with Kirk's surgery and work projects....it's very much appreciated!!

New Moon Treat Bags
As you all know, the new Twilight Series Movie, New Moon premiers the week and we are very excited for it at our house!! In fact, we're so excited my daughter and I came up with these fun "treat bags" to take with us for our group of girls that are going to see it. And thanks to a really AWESOME friend for inviting us to see the movie at 7:00pm on Thursday night...instead of the midnight showing everyone else is going to. They rented the entire theater and invited us...along with a bunch of other people (wahoo)!!
So here's the treat bags we created...
Bag includes: Bite Me bag of Oreos, Bag of red & silver Kisses and a can of pomegrante 7up. I did the large bag of "red velvet" cookies, but they won't fit in the bag so my hubby says those are for him. I stamped all the bags with my favorite Fancy Pants stamp too to give it that Twilight feel.

This is what the bag looks like closed up. I also added in a pack of "tissues" for the girls...just in case the movie makes the cry!!
So about stamping on the bags...my favorite scrapbook tip I've tried out recently. Have you ever thought to stamp on your plain cello bags yourself?? I hadn't...not until my friend pointed out that you could stamp with Stazon ink (white for the black lunch sack and black for the cello bags). I used the Sprinkles glitter glue type stuff to add a bit of red to the lunch sack.

You can find StazOn ink at most craft stores, but here's a link to it on scrapbook.com.

Twilight Inspired Bedroom

My daughter has been asking for Christmas if we could remodel her room (which use to be yellow and green). She really wanted it to be "Twilight" colors...red, black and white. So after putting her off a couple months I decided it would be a great 12th Birthday gift and we got to work. We painted over the yellow - white...the green was covered with the best red paint color ever. We then repainted the closet doors, ceiling fan, dresser, chair, night-stand all black. For her birthday she received those inexpensive poster frames that we put her very cool Twilight posters in and we have on order some cool "Twilight" inspired vinyl for the walls. The last thing we need to get are some black sheer curtains for the two smaller windows and then it's COMPLETE!!
