New Moon Treat Bags

As you all know, the new Twilight Series Movie, New Moon premiers the week and we are very excited for it at our house!! In fact, we're so excited my daughter and I came up with these fun "treat bags" to take with us for our group of girls that are going to see it. And thanks to a really AWESOME friend for inviting us to see the movie at 7:00pm on Thursday night...instead of the midnight showing everyone else is going to. They rented the entire theater and invited us...along with a bunch of other people (wahoo)!!

So here's the treat bags we created...
Bag includes: Bite Me bag of Oreos, Bag of red & silver Kisses and a can of pomegrante 7up. I did the large bag of "red velvet" cookies, but they won't fit in the bag so my hubby says those are for him. I stamped all the bags with my favorite Fancy Pants stamp too to give it that Twilight feel.

This is what the bag looks like closed up. I also added in a pack of "tissues" for the girls...just in case the movie makes the cry!!
So about stamping on the bags...my favorite scrapbook tip I've tried out recently. Have you ever thought to stamp on your plain cello bags yourself?? I hadn't...not until my friend pointed out that you could stamp with Stazon ink (white for the black lunch sack and black for the cello bags). I used the Sprinkles glitter glue type stuff to add a bit of red to the lunch sack.
You can find StazOn ink at most craft stores, but here's a link to it on scrapbook.com.
