Hi !What do you use to primer the chalkboard fabric?
That is exactly what I was wondering! What do you do, Lori, to "prime" the fabric? **Inquiring minds want to know… :)
Don't know where my comment went… Anyway, I also was wanting to know what you meant by "priming". Please, do tell…
Sandy sorry for the confusion...when I mentioned "priming" the chalkboard fabric I actually meant to say "season" the fabric. You simply do this by rubbing chalk all over the fabric and wipe it off. That way when you go to write on it the first time it doesn't leave ghost lettering you can never get off.
You simply prime (aka season) the chalkboard fabric the same way you do an actual chalkboard. Simply rub the fabric down with the side of a piece of chalk (scribbling all over surface) and then wipe it off and you're good to go.
