Hallmark's new Kids Encouragement Cards and other products help you encourage and connect with the special kids in your life — whether it’s your children, nieces or nephews. Whether they’re gearing up for the school year or facing a new challenge, we hope you’ll continue to tell all the special kids in your life what they need to hear all year long.
One of my favorite parts of EVO (blogger conference this past July) was the Hallmark suite. They let us select our own Kids Encouragment cards, write a personal message, address them and then they mailed them home to our cute kids. And who doesn't like happy mail?? I especially loved that they had a great selection for all ages, especially my teenagers. I think my son's card said something about being "so happy he was smarter then 99.9% of people on YouTube!"
So take a minute and think about what YOUR kids need to hear - whether on a school day or any day. Do they need an extra boost of confidence? Do they need to hear they can do it? Or, do they need a fun, new way to connect with their friends?
Here's a sampling of some of the cards (stop by your local Hallmark store to find out what the message inside the cards is):
To make it easy for you to connect like you and your kids did, Hallmark is happily agreed to supply a pack of five assorted Hallmark Kids Encouragement greeting cards, a Hallmark Gold Crown coupon for $2 off of three greeting cards and two Hallmark Text Bands to one of my lucky readers. To be entered into the drawing for this giveaway, simply tell me what encouraging things you do or would like to do for your kids. We'll announce the winner on Monday, 8/27/12.
You're asking what is a Text Band aren't you? My kids had a ball playing with there Text Bands. Check them out here on Hallmark's website.
Thank you so much for this post. I want to let you know that I posted a link to your blog in Creative Busy Bee Craft Inspirations, under the Page 5 post on Aug. 21, 2012. Thanks again.
I connect with my kids through crafting, and card making... i have 3 children and 2 of them have autism, and the best way to involve them is in art... it brings out their creative side...
Such a cool giveaway :D
I have checked out the text bands and my grandkids would love one of these - so much fun.
I connect with my grandchildren via craft, cooking and growing vegies.
they love little notes
My babies are young adults. In the Army, at ollege and a senior in High School. I send them cards, Skype and I even make goody bags for them to share with their buddies. My Soldier's buddies think they are great. I also send party boxes for birthdays, holidays or for silly reasons. Including decorations, treat bags, hostess cupcakes, candles, games, etc.....
I love to tell my kids what they are doing right! With little ones, it always seems like I'm telling them no.. so I try to point out the good also! :)
