Magical Templates - Disney Ideas

I "need" to go to Disneyland again!! The girls at Ettes & Company created the cutest new kit called Magical Memories. Then of course, since they're partners with

My Memories Suite they offer their same designs for that software as well. But the BEST part about using their designs on My Memories Suite is the TEMPLATE feature (read more below this layout about why).

Unlike quick pages for photoshop...templates in My Memories Suite are super versatile. You can add or omit photos, embellishments, etc. You can move things around, resize them, etc. In fact the first layout originally only had spots for 2 pictures and I needed three, so I copied the black box behind the pictures and dropped my 3rd picture onto the layout, added my journaling and I was done. Seriously it only took me a few minutes to create these darling layouts. The two at the bottom though that aren't "Disney" pages I created from SCRATCH using My Memories Suite and the Magical Memories kit. So yes, another trip to Disney is needed so I can scrapbook more great pictures to go with these fun designs.

These two layouts I created using the papers and embellishments from the Magical Memories kit. I think I posted them before, but I wanted to show how versitile this digi kit can be.

Ettes & Company New Designs

Okay if you have Disney pictures you've never scrapbooked then you need to check out the new Magical Memories collection from Ettes & Company!! I created the first two layouts with this collection. The bottom layout was created with the new Princess Collection and they also just released a darling Pirate Collection. And as always, I created these fun layouts in My Memories Suite software...it's the easiest way to scrapbook your memories!!

Project 52: Weeks 9, 11 & 14

I fell a little behind on my Project 52. I had some weeks where I'd put pictures on the darn page and never actually finished the pages. So I thought I better get caught up before I fall TOOOO far behind.

Here's my typical disclaimer for those of you joining us new. I saw tons of people talking about Project 365 and couldn't commit to something that large...and came up with my own version called Project 52. So I take random pictures from each week, create a layout for that week and add them to my ongoing album. I create all of these using My Memories Suite software (which I love). When I'm finished I'll have the layouts all made into a 12x12 photobook.

Pinewood Derby Layout

I was so excited to play with this new collection from Ettes & Company, called "Tall, Dark & Handsome." Although it seemed mostly designed for your man or dad, I couldn't resist using it on some very OLD Pinewood Derby pictures I've never scrapbooked of my son (he's now almost 14...in the pics he's eight). I'm holding out for the same collection to be ready for My Memories Suite in a week so I can go crazy and build a great many layouts or photobook!!

Don't Start Scrapping Your Wedding Photos First

I started learning to scrapbook 14 years ago before my son was born and of course the most important pictures I needed scrapbooked where my wedding photos. To this day it is the one album that I want to do over and I'm not a fan of redoing pages. But 14 years ago I only had access to deckled edged scissors and pretty stationary and stickers...yes, I said stickers. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with the many pictures I cut out around the people and turned most of the formal pictures into OVAL cutouts.

So I was asked to create a layout using a new collection just posted in the Design Shop at My Memories Suite called "Be My Guest" by Ettes & Company. Loved this template set and full pack and don't my wedding pictures look amazing. I hope to scan in all my wedding pictures and build a wedding photobook soon.

Absorbing Talent

Today I got to meet two of the most talented ladies I know for lunch. Both Fayette Terlouw and Annette Ward from Ettes & Company finally made time for me (wink) so we could visit, talk creative scrapbook ideas, digi designs and more. They still make me laugh a ton and I hope hanging out with them will help increase my own level of creativity. If you haven't already, go check out their new digi website..it's awesome and so are their designs. They can be found at EttesandComany.com or their blog, asktheettes.blogspot.com.

Thanks for a fun lunch girls!!

So here are some darling layouts I threw together with the new DUDE Collection from Ettes & Company. Love these designs!!

Creative Team Announced!!

My dear friends of Ettes & Company just announced their new Creative Team. And I'm proud to announce that I'm part of this very talented group of ladies. Yes, I know I'm already swamped (who isn't)...but I couldn't resist the opportunity to play with their beautiful designs. And the best part is they're designs are available for regular digi download for photoshop or templates and packs for My Memories Suite by Polaroid program. Here's a layout I threw together last night with their new Mom's Life Collection (combined with Templ-Ette in Photoshop).

My Project 52 - weeks 3 and 4

Just a reminder to all who may have forgotten...I decided that the popular Project 365 was too much pressure and so I created my own challenge...I call it Project 52. 52 weeks didn't seem as hard as 365 days did. And yes I'm scrapbooking each week when they're done (or a week later). But I'm using the My Memories Suite by Polaroid program I got for Christmas. It's quick and easy and I love that it keeps it in an ongoing album. Then when I'm done with the entire year, I'm going to have it bound into a 12x12 hardbound book...I can't wait.

Design Note: The darling designs I used on these two layouts were created by The Ettes & Company designers (Faye & Annette). If you are a Photoshop guru then you can pic up their digi stuff there too.

Cutest Photo Bag Ever!!

I am SOOO excited to share this find with you...it's my new Sport Tote Bag from Daily Window Bags. I've seen many bags that allow you to drop a layout or photo into them, but this one was perfect for me and I knew it the first time I saw it on a friends blog. Then when I had it delivered to me, and I was in LOVE...it's just my size (big) and it was super easy to change out the card in the front pocket. I couldn't wait to start creating some designs that I could fit inside and show off. (And so far everywhere I've gone, people have stopped to ask me where to buy it.)I designed these two cards with My Memories Suite software using the So Thankful Templates designed by Ettes & Company. I had to resize the layouts from 12x12 to portrait 8 1/2 x 11 and adjust the designs a bit. I then exported them out to a Jpg and printed it to the size that would fit in my pocket. It was super easy and I can't wait to change it out each month.

In fact, come back each month and visit my blog to see what I've done with my bag...look for the blog listing or photo album called
"Me & My Bag".

And I want to share with YOU...I emailed the Daily Window people about how much I loved my new bag... and they sent me this Mini Carry All bag to give away on my blog. (My daughter wanted to keep it to put her art supplies in, my hubby wanted it for his lunches and I wanted to keep it because...well it's RED. But how cute is this and you could win it? )

To win this darling bag, visit either the My Memories Suite Design Shop and tell me which of the new Ettes & Company designs you like best OR visit the Daily Window website and tell me which Daily Window bag you like best. Leave me a comment and I will draw a winner on February 1st!!

Simply Joy Digi Collection

Okay, I just can't stop playing since I got the new designer packs for My Memories Suite software. I really need to do some laundry or dishes, but why bother. I'm really trying to scrapbook more then one photo to a layout, but this is a photo I've cherished since I took it of my hubby and daughter and couldn't resist putting it on this layout by itself. Anyway, the designs are new from Ettes & Company and you can download it for your My Memories Suite or from their site for photoshop, etc. You pick...best of both worlds don't you think??

Loveable You Digi Collection

The darling Ettes & Company just released a new collection called Loveable You and it's so yummy I couldn't wait to play with it. The other great news was they're offering their designs as typical digi downloads from their Ettes & Company website AND you can also download it for your My Memories Suite software. So the best of both worlds...I love using the templates in MMS to create fast and easy pages or a book or I can buy the designs from the Ettes site and create my layouts in photoshop (like the one above).

I absolutely love that I have the option and my sis-in-law can create the same look much faster and easier in MMS. Right now the Ettes have a coupon code for the software too for 30% off the software, just use "ETTES" when you check out.

Ettes & Company

I couldn't wait to tell my friends about the launch of a new website. Ettes & Company just opened shop this weekend and my very, very, vErY talented friends Fayette and Annette (aka the Ettes) have started a digi website. Which makes me so happy that I can still get my hands on their yummy designs. Go by and get your freebie each day this week!

So of course I had to download all their designs (Merry Christmas to me) and start playing and these are a couple of layouts I created with their wonderful designs.
